BIG BROTHER AFRICA: The Probable Reason To Jen's Departure

If you are like me and have been following Big Brother Africa Revolution, you would know that the Mozambican housemate Jennifer has decided to voluntarily leave the house citing 'bad news from home' as her reason for leaving. She didn't say word-for-word her reasons for leaving which has left viewers speculating the real reasons to her sudden and hush-hush decision.

I've been doing some research on Ms Jen and found out that her father Inacio Sabastiao Mussanhane is influential in the international community. In fact his work that involves human trafficking between South Africa and Mozambique has seen him being recognised by the United Nations, which makes him a heavy weight.

About two nights ago Jen was telling Zambia's Paloma and Liz from South Africa unpleasant issues about her father. She said her father abandoned her and her brothers when they were little and would often go to bed hungry. She also mentioned when she moved to South Africa to her father, she lived with her dad and her dad's wife or girlfriend and he completely ignored her and brothers. He wouldn't buy food or clothes for them.

Jen was saying all of this about an influential person for the whole world to hear and if you smart enough you can put two and two together and come out with Jen's real reason of leaving. Her father must of hit boiling point and urged her to leave the house or news came to her from her family about her father's state and she could of decided to leave to mend her relationship with her dad. It would why she wanted to speak to her father so badly.

Viewers have been saying her decision comes after she found that she could be pregnant but I think it's way too far fetched coz on Thursday night she was binging on alcohol without a care in the world. And if it was a family emergency or a death in the family she wouldn't wait until Sunday to leave the house, she would leave asap.

Anyways Jen should of known what she was saying about her father would be detrimental and could of exercised more precaution.

I wish her the best of luck even though my love for her was lost on Thursday when she was talking a whole lot of rubbish about South Africa. Maybe she hates South Africa because she has bad childhood memories that she unfortunately experienced in this beautiful country.

And on a final note, since she studied politics she should join the ANC Youth League and be Julius Malema's deputy coz they both have mouth diarrhea. Do they even let foreigners join?

Hell yea Mpume said so!

EYE CANDY: The Hottest 100 Meter Sprinters

Watching the men's 100 meter races at the IAAF World Championships I realised how yummy these men are. My eyes couldn't help but feast on these lightning fast Gods. Here are my top 5 hottest sprinters.

Usain Bolt
You best believe that the lightning would be featuring in this list. Not because he's freakishly fast but there's something about this Jamaican's long legs that makes my pulse go doof doof.

Tyson Gaye
There's something about this silver medalist that I can't really put my finger on. He looks like he could be in his late 30s yet he has a body of a hot blooded early 20something. He reminds me my high school Biology teacher. The man was in his 40s but damn he was fine!

Asafa Powell
I just love the coolness of this guy when he's on the track. It's like he's running without giving much effort. Besides the big head, the former fastest man on earth is definitely high on my list.

Darvis Patton
I didn't know much about Patton and in a matter of fact I still don't know. All I know is that this super fine American's smile is killer. And I love a guy with a mysterious look.

Richard Thompson
Well look at what we have here. I didn't know there are men like this in Trinidad and Tobacco. I'm relocating to the Trinidad and Tobacco. Hell I'm relocating to the Caribbean. Sorry R. LOL.

The number one spot will most definitely be taken by Asafa Powel with Usain Bolt taking a close second and Richard Thompson taking third.

On a side note: I wonder why both women and men's 100m sprints are always dominated by black people in the US and the Caribbean. Could it be in the water? Whatever it is, they can do their thing and they do it good. I'm sensing Jamaica will soon be the track athlete's capital of the world. Don't say Mpume didn't say so.

STOP THE HATE: Why Can't We Just All Get Along

This issue has been bothering me for a while now and thought it's about time I let it out. All this haterism has taken it's toll on me especially since it's black on black hate.

Phrases like: “Whoo Xhosa girls are men thieves and are deceitful just like their Xhosa men”, “Zulu men are violent and don't know the meaning of romance” or “Swatis sound like retarded children when they speak” are phrases I've heard one too many times. These are the types of stereotypes that are been attached to people based on their cultural backgrounds.

Whether these phrases are true or not, I don't understand why do we have to define ourselves by stereotypes like these. These stereotypes have gone as far as we as the black nation hating each other. I've heard women saying you should never let a Xhosa woman near your man or else you will find yourself single coz sister girl don't play when it come to men, she takes without asking.

I get really concerned with these stereotypes coz I can't help to think if this is black-on-black hate in a different form. Black people have a history of this kind of hate where blood was shed between the Zulus and Xhosas.

For example people say Zulu women are submissive towards their men and can't stand up for themselves. They like“Yebo baba” whenever he says or want anything. I'm Zulu and certainly I'm no 'yes girl' and will not let no man walk all over me and he knows it. It's 50/50 baby. Or that Zulu women are violent just like their taxi driving boyfriends, wearing fake labels with a matching fake gold tooth bought and fitted at a street corner. Yes we Durbanites love mouth bling but hell no, we don't go that far.

But this hate don't just end with Xhosas and Zulus. I've heard Tsonga women don't have no personal hygiene or that all Coloured girls are smoking and alcohol binging baby making machines.

I have Coloured friends and can safely say that's not true. I know my girls will flip their wigs if somebody told them that to their face. In just about any community, there are those certain individuals who will give misconceptions which unfortunately will create a stereotype to the community.

I wish that we as a people can stop judging each other from one certain experience but judge a person from their personality. Not that I'm all Ms Goody-Too-Shoes but I think it's only fare to give each other a chance and don't shut each other out because we of a certain culture or even race.

Let's just all get along!

Caster Semenya Saga Has Become A Fiasco

Like the rest of the world, I've been following the Caster Semenya saga closely and I'm glad this whole story has died down for now.

My heart goes out to Caster, I can't imagine the psychological trauma she's going through during this time. It's like she's been paraded and talked about like a circus freak.

What still puzzles me is the race card that was pulled with this story. Ok maybe I'm naïve and just can't see the bigger picture but what does her race has to do with anything. It's not like she's the first woman who's gender has been questioned. Don't get me wrong here, I totally disagree with the manner in which the news about gender tests being conducted on her. I feel her human rights were violated and the IAAF should of being a lot more sensitivity and privacy.

I commend all those who came in their numbers to welcome Caster and the other two medal winners, Mbulaeni Mulaudzi and Khotso Mokoena. It showed how proud South Africa and her people are proud of their achievements and that we are 100% behind Caster during this time.

But then I wonder how has the homecoming of the three athletes became a political fiasco. There blabber-mouth Julius Malema was saying what a disgrace it is that there wasn't any white South Africans who came to OR Tambo International Airport to welcome the athletes. He went as far as saying of it was the Rugby team they would have been there. Although there was some truth to what he was saying but that was not the day or time. That particular time was to welcome and congratulate the three athletes not to point who was at the homecoming and who wasn't. So what if there weren't any white South Africans. If it was the rugby team I can guarantee that there was going to be more white than black South Africans.

Back to Miss Semenya, I think this story has been blown way out of proportion. She's not the first and will not be the last female athlete to have a gender test. All I can say before I actually make any conclusions is that let's wait and see what the results, although I strongly feel she's a woman. But I'm also afraid of the consequences if the results conclude that she in fact has male chromosomes.

I will be watching this one very closely.

Milk and Honey - Goapele from goapele on Vimeo.

Here's is a video to Gaopele's new song Milk & Honey.

About two weeks back I did a post on this song and I must say I'm loving it and so is my friend Nicky.

I can't wait for her album which she is currently working on.

John Legend, Keri Hilson Live in SA!!

This is probably one of the best entertainment news of the year for me. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. John Legend and one of my favourite singer at the moment, Keri Hilson will be serenading their South African fans in Cape Town, Johannesburg and my hometown Durban from

As broke as I am, I will be a fool to miss this concert. I'm already raising funds to buy myself a ticket. I'm gonna make sure I will be singing along to all their songs.

Now that I already have Ms Hilson's album (which reminds me I must get my CD back from my boyfriend), I need to download John Legend's album from the Internet. I call on anybody who has it to sponsor me so I won't commit a crime.

Anyways John Legend and Keri Hilson are presented by Heineken and Big Concerts. They will be performing at the Grand Arena, GrandWest Casino & Entertainment World in Cape Town on the 15th, the Indoor Arena, International Convention Centre Indoor Arena in Durban on the 17th and at the Coca-Cola Dome and at the Coca-cola Dome in Johannesburg on the 18th of October.

This is one concert that shouldn't be missed!

Music Video: Proverb ft HHP - “Breadwinner”

If you've heard this song then you have been missing out on great track!

Proverb teamed up with Jabba to make this super fab track. The track is commemorating all the great dads out there who are man enough to take care of their kids and not following the millions of men who don't know what their children are eating or wearing.

I love the chorus, it's catchy and Proverb's daughter is just too damn cute. He must keep her on a short leech coz those sex hungry boys will be after her in 10 years time

Man I love this collabo!

Oh and I would like to know if Channel O payed all the expenses of this video. They all over the video and what is KB's role it vele. He's childless!

Hell yea Mpume said it!

Music Video: Lizha James ft Mandoza - "Voodoo"

This music is a bit old but I saw it for the first time tonight on Channel O and instantly fell in love with it.

I just love seeing two African artists from two different African countries making music in totally different languages and still make it sound damn good.

I think Mandoza has reached his sell-by date but this song is good. And well I just love Lizha James. She grew on me when her song was played over and over over again on Big Brother Africa 3. I envy that bitche's body.

While I'm on the point of BBA...I can't wait for the fourth season beginning in September. I'll make damn sure that the DSTV subscription is paid during those three months.

If He Beats You, Run And Never Come Back!

There have been rumoures flying around that Chris and Rihanna are back together yet again soon after Chris made the fake apology to Riri. According to London's Daily Mail, the two were seen checking into the Trump International Hotel and Tower on Friday at separate rooms.

If the rumour mill is true and that they are still seeing each other, I'm not surprised at all. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they come out in the open and say they still a couple. I've always said and will continue to say that there's more to what really happened that night in February than what the rest of us know.

Besides that, these types of things always happen, I've seen it with my own eyes. A guy will knock they lights out of his girlfriend or wife and sometimes he will beat up so badly she ends up in hospital but still once he smooth talks her she will go running back to his arms as if nothing has ever happened.

Personally I never been in that situation coz I feel I'm way smarter than to stay in an abusive relationship that is draining me physical and mentally. Nonetheless I've had encounter with people I know that have/are in abusive relationships but still choose to stay despite the on-going abuse. I asked one beautiful sister who was in an abusive relationship with a very relative of mine why does she stay and continue with such abuse and she simply told me it's coz they have a child together and she wants him to be in his child's life. I told that is just an excuse to stay, which I still feel strongly about. The sad part is that they have broken up and he simply refuses to be in the child's life unless a circumstance forces him to.

Ladies must learn that if a guy beats you up, even once, pack your bags and leave because 99.99% of the time he will do it again. And if he sees that you a sucker for a smack he will take advantage of your weakness and one day he will end up taking you to your grave.

So ladies stop being fools of these sorry excuses for men and stand up your ground. When the relationship is becoming too abusive don't be afraid to cut your loses and leave him. Regardless on whether you have a child with him or not. Regardless on any other circumstance coz your life and the lives of your loved ones is much more important than anything else.

Yes Mpume said so.

Stop the violence already!

Last week South Africa saw a ray of violent protests around the country, among those were for service delivery.

Probably 99% of those protests turned out violent which I find extremely sad. I don't understand why our people find the need to use violence to get their voices heard. Haven't they realised that violence will do nothing but harm, absolutely no good will come out of violence but even bigger problems.

In Mpumalanga's Marambane Township residents went as far as burning the only clinic in the area. What the hell! These people are going around toy-toying, burning tyres on the roads making noise about the lack of service delivery yet they go and set alight and destroy one of the few facilities that tries to provide the community with service delivery. How silly can people be! Now where the hell do they expect to get primary health care from when they have burnt down the only facility in the community that provides it.

Then there were more angry residents for Siyathemba Township in Mpumalanga who decided to loot and vandalised shops owned by foreign nationals.

What the hell do the foreign nationals have to do with the lack of service delivery. The poor people escaped their country of birth to make a better living in our country. I mean if they as foreigners are able to make a decent living in a foreign country what is stopping the people who were born and bread in South Africa to do the same. I'm really starting to seriously believe that South Africans are lazy.

And then there was an incident of a bunch of member from the South African Unemployed People's Movement(SAUPM). Damn there's an organisation like that, I must go join it! Now these people just made laugh my ass off. The walked into Shoprite and Pick 'n Pay at Durban's City Center made like they shopping and walked out with the groceries as if they own the store. These people claim the reason they looted the shops was because of lack of service delivery.
Maybe I wasn't informed or I have a lack of knowledge but aren't these stores independently owned? What does Shoprite and PnP have to do with the government's lack of service delivery? I didn't want to say this but these people have a lack of common sense and I wish I could smack them back to reality. I understand their grievances but acting like a common thief and looting shops will not do any good for you.

Look here people of SAUPM Shoprite and PnP are business owned by a bunch of capitalists. They don't give a damn about the government's lack of service delivery. They not involved in the government's lack of service delivery. The people who you should be thieving from is the people who voted for in April.

Wake the hell up people! Violence in any form or kind will do nothing but make matters worse. Stop the foolishness and voice your grievances in a peaceful manner.

People are laughing at us dammit!!

Blast from the Past: Township Life in Reverse

I was browsing through some YouTube video and stumbled upon this SABC 1 advert. This advert was done to promote SABC 1's new slogan “Yama Mpela”. If I remember correctly it aired sometime in 2003.

I absolutely loved this advert. It was a switched life of the ordinary black person living in the township and an average suburbia white person. The ad depicts a white guy from the township, waking up in the morning, walking on the streets of Soweto, township tour buses with black tourists photographing children on the streets, taxi ranks, hair salons on the streets in town. Everything that an average black township person sees and experiences everyday is depicted in the ad but the characters are made to be white.

This ad is creativity at its best and shows what we township folks have to deal with on a daily basis. The music is so fitting, I love that Mapaputsi track, it's so hardcore Absolutely love it.

Ja, Mpume said so.

Die Stem irrelevent for new South Africa?

The other day I took a careful listen to the South African national antheme and realised how long it is. It's four verses that go on forever, not that i'm complaining or anything.

And then I remembered some weeks ago, musician Thandiswa Mazwai was making noise about why the Afrikaans verse of the national anthem should be scrapped off. She said Die Stem reminded South Africans of our horrible past and that the song was coined by racists who made it their life's mission to make the lives of Black South Africans hell (not in so many words of course).

I couldn't help thinking that what Ms Mazwai was saying has some truth to it. As much as it's part of our history it's still the birth child of our oppressors.

But then again on the flip side I think Die Stem is part of our history. I also feel as bad as it was apartheid is part of history and most probably made South Africa to be what it is today. Who knows maybe South Africa would have been a little known nation on the southern most tip of Africa. No matter who in the world as soon as you mention South Africa, most probably the first thing that would come to their minds would apartheid or Nelson Mandela.

I'm on the fence on this one coz I strongly feel we as South Africans should know and be familiar with our history, whether it was good or bad but then again Die Stem can open up many unhealed wounds for thousands of South Africans.

Despite this we can't deny that Die Stem is part of South Africa's history and heritage.

Yea, Mpume said so.

Chris Brown's Fake Apology

At the beginning of this week singer Chris Brown finally made a public apology to Rihanna for knocking her lights out in a form of a video (shown above).

Maybe it's me but that apology look awfully fake to me. It looks over rehearsed as if he was like let me just over and with this already. Also I find it very convenient that he decides to apologise now. I mean he's been seen in and out of the studio recently, is he trying to get back his fans who have fallen off the wagon since the February incident.

Whatever it is I think the boy's apology is fake and it was done for his own good.

On a side note I think there's more to this Chris Brown-Rihanna assault. I want the fool story before I can completely make up my mind about the assault. But Chris was wrong in smacking the girl, no matter what he shouldn't lay his hands on a female unless in a life or death situation, which i doubt it was.

Nelson Mandela Day a little too much?

The 18th of July just about the whole celebrates the birthday of the struggle icon Nelson Mandela. Whether it’s star a studded concert or a smallanyana community gathering, people do celebrate his life and acknowledge what he has done for South African democracy.

Although I’m all for the praises the old man gets (after all he does deserve it) what about the other apartheid struggle heroes and heroines. I mean it’s not like my favourite [soon to be] 91 year old single handed brought South Africa and it’s people democracy.

I’m not hating on tata Mandela on anything but let’s also celebrate the lives and times of other struggle icons. Let’s acknowledge all the other fallen soldiers of the struggle who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this beautiful country.

Let’s celebrate the birthday of Chris Hani, hell he almost became the first democratically elected president. Robben Island was filled with political prisoners who spent years behind bars for fighting what should have been theirs.

While celebrating the birthday of Nelson Mandela and proposing 18 July to be yet another national public holiday (which I’m all for), lets think about other heroes and heroines who were also instrumental in giving this country freedom.

I’m not hating on anybody, I’m just telling it like it is. Oh and I hear Mandela has his own Nike sneakers.
***On a side note: Shame on Mandela's grandson for cashing on his grandfather's death while he's still alive. Selling exclusive rights to filming his funeral to SABC is just too low. Isn't SABC suppose to be broke? Ey some people I just don't understand them.

JZ has a wive for every occassion

My daddy (LOL) South African Jacob Zuma seems to have no problems with changing his wives for every occasion.

Last week he brought his second wife Nompumelelo Ntuli to the G8 Summit in Italy, leaving my mother’s favourite Sizakele Khumalo and his fiance Thobeka Mabhija. He probably left the spotlight shy MaKhumalo at Inkandla. She has said many times that she’s not fond of glitz and glamour while MaNtuli on the other hand is not camera shy.

During Zuma’s presidential inauguration ceremony, he had his first wive MaKhumalo on his side and anyone with two fully functioning eyes could see that the old woman was uncomfortable having millions of eyes starring at her. I don’t blame her though.

Anyways MaNtuli was rubbing shoulders with influential world leaders and first ladies including American first lady Michelle Obama.

I’m glad my daddy is giving all his wives a chance in the spot light.

Ey you know you in South Africa when even the president practices polygamy.

Goapele’s new song “Milk & Honey” + Download

Neo soul musician Goapele released her brand new song titled “Milk & Honey” via her Twitter page for her second album which she is currently working on.

Goapele shot to fame with her single “Closer” from her 2005 debut album “Change It All”.

What I love about Goapele and most neo soul artists is that they don’t sell sex but music. They are not industry floozies like most main stream so-called singers which half of them can’t sing a music note properly. And of course she’s got South African roots so I can praise her as much I want to.

Watch out for her album, it’s rumoured to have some industry heavy weights.

So what if Ju-Ju Baby got himself a babe

My favourite victim of mouth diarrhea ANC Youth League President Julius Malema has found himself a new sweet heart after being a lonely soul for ages. This is according to reports by Sunday World.

According to the report the woman’s name is Lebo Boholo and is an office administrator at the office of the Limpopo premier which is where they met. But the plot thickens, apparently the woman who Malema thinks is his love has another lover for six years on the side. On the other hand Malema denies knowing Boholo but confirms he is in a relationship with another woman while she confirms she knows him.

I don’t really care about who’s two timing who or whether they actually in a relationship or not. So what if Ju-Ju Baby is in a relationship. He is a man after all and needs a woman at his side. Just because he is a babbling food it don’t mean he doesn’t have desires of having a woman stroke his ego and telling him how good he’s hitting that coochie.

He also wants to experience how it feels to make a woman scream for him to go faster. He also wants rave to his fellow comrades how his woman craves for his manly jewels. The man also needs to be sexually happy. Why must be sexually deprived.

Comrade Malema if your sexually desires tell you to go and get woman it is your constitutional right to do so.

Was Obama’s interest in Ghana for oil?

My second favourite president in the whole entire world Barack Obama made his first visit to Sub-Saharan Africa this weekend by taking a visit to the west African nation of Ghana.

From what I saw and read from the news this weekend Ghanaians were in jubilation about the the visit of the son of an African immigrant. I even heard a lot of Ghanains posponed weddings and funerals that were scheduled for the weekend. I don’t if that’s pure craziness or are Ghanaians that in love with the american president.

Despite all of that I still smelly something very fishy about Obama’s visit to the oil rich west African nation. During his visit Obama stated:

“One of the principles that I want to bring to the US/Africa relationship is
that economic development in Africa is not just going to be based on dribbles of
foreign aid, but rather on how do we build capacity within Africa…We want to,
wherever we can, provide the kinds of access to the US global markets that can
really make a difference.”

I just wonder if those ‘global markets’ relate to oil. We all know the US is oil greedy and if anyone disputes that I have one word for you…IRAQ. Where are those weapons of mass destruction? I watched Fahrenheit 911.

President Obama also gave his reasons for visiting Ghana. He said his reasons for visiting Ghana was because of the “tremendous work they’ve done in developing a functioning democracy”. As if we have never heard that one before in an oil rich country. Am I sensing another invasion?

President Obama may be the answer for most African Americans and Africa but the man doesn’t run the richest country in the world single handedly. All I can say is that we shouldn’t expect much from the man and don’t rule out nothing too.

I still heart him though until he invades Ghana.

Walter Mokoena talks fuckery on TV and runs to court

Charmer boy Walter Mokeana who has been suspended by the SABC after spreading propaganda live on television is now taking national broadcaster SABC to court in an effort to save his job.

The SABC soprts anchor’s suspension came after he said Bafana Bafana coach Joel Santana and captain Aaron Mokoena should be fired after the national team lost 2-0 to Spain.

What the hell does this fool think is going to happen to him when he says dumb sh*t like that on national TV. The only person who needs to get the boot is you. His suspension should be made permanent.

This is not the first time Mokoena has made himself look like a fool on television. He was suspended after he said a well-known football legend lost his virginity to a goat. The SABC allegedly paid the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) R2 million for the comments

It’s about time he got what’s due to him. Walter be a man and take responsibility for your actions.

Kim Kardashian’s fake booty in SA

My favourite American white girl Kim Kardashian is in South Africa. Kim is in the country with her boyfriend Reggie Bush and music mogul Russell Simmons. They will be visiting a couple of schools in South Africa and Botswana. They will also be raising funds for Russell Simmons’ Diamond Empowerment Fund.

If you don’t know Kim Kardashian or Reggie Bush I don’t blame you. The only thing Kimmie is famous for is her sex tape with Ray J. Afterall South Africans aren’t perverts searching on the net for celebrities getting their freak on. I mean if SA men want to see naked people doing the nasty they could always an adult shop somewhere to indulge in perverted but instead they rape innocent babies and little girls.

Excuse my ranting and raving, back to the topic. Kim, her BF, her big little sis Khloe and Uncle Russ headed to South Africa on Monday June 13. I hope they weren’t expecting wild animals walking the streets.

Obama's mistaken G8 perverted blunder explained + video

There's a picture (above) of American President Barack Obama that has been causing quet a stir, it even landed on my mailbox.

Now this picture appears to show Obama checking out a young woman's butt at the G8 summit in Italy. And the look on French President Sarkozy makes it look even worse.

When I saw this picture I knew there was more to the story than what meets the eye. Infact the video shows it was Sarkozy who was enjoying the view. Check out the video below to see what i'm talking about.

I don't make this a race thing coz it's not but why are people bring my favourite president (after JZ of course) down. I mean didn't any of these fools who were thinking Obama is a perverted soul checking out woman's side could have been looking on the floor and coensidanly there was a young woman walking by (btw she's 16).

I don't wanna rant and rave like Khanyi Mbau but I heart Obama and stop trying to make him look bad.

Now Sarckozy on the other had I wouldn't blame him for drooling at the view. If I was lesbian I would but not before I find out that she's 16 years old. It goes to show picture can say a thousand wrong words.

Khanyi ranting about her failed marriage, pubicity stunt?

Everybody who cares to know knows that Khanyi Mbau and Mandla Mthembu's marriage is over and done with. But not before all the drama that's been happening between them, bickering like high school children.

You two have a damn child. Ya'll may be 30 years apart but both of you are grown now act like it. Going on radio telling all the nation that he used to beat and blah blah blah is all good but I question your motives Khanyi. Is it a publicity stunt. I hope you not just trying to promote your new reality show.

You too Mandla, you learnt your lesson the hard way. Next time don't try to wifey a person who is old enough to be your daughter. The only thing she wants from you is money and once that is gone, you best believe she's gone too.

I won't be wasting my precious time watching that circus. BTW what happened to her singing career?
Oh and remember when she accused Chris Brown of sexually harassing her when he was in the country. I rest my case with that girl

I wonder if that's the car you've been driving lately on the above picture after Mandla refused to continue renting the yellow Lamborghini. I hear the petrol is the only thing new in it. Girl you need a real job and no gold digging doesn't qualify as a job.

You damn right, Mpume said it!

Shut up I don't want you

I get this all the time, I could be anywhere, walking in town, at the queu in the supermarket or in the taxi. Some random guy that I’ve never met in my entire life greets me. Ok I don’t mind a total stranger greeting me coz it’s so common in my culture. I mean I’m a township girl through and through and in the township people greet each other as if they’ve known each other for years. And it’s not creepy, in a matter of fact if you don’t greet a person you cross paths with on the street you are seen as a snob.

So anyways here I am and this guy I don’t know greets him. As a sweet girl as I am I smile and greet him back…and that’s when the trouble starts. Soon after that this complete stranger moves in and start making small meaningless talk with me, only if he knew how much I hate small talk. Hell I even avoid people I know because I just know that I will be forced to make small talk with them. My policy is if you don’t have anything interesting and meaninglful to say shut the hell up, I don’t wanna talk about the weather.

Ok now back to the topic at hand. Now this dude automatically thinks I wanna start up a conversation with or some sick reason thinks I actually want him. Well newsflash 99.99% of the time I don’t. It’s like my kind gesture a secrete way for me to say “oh yes I want you here’s my number”.

I’ve greeted him back with a smile and the next thing that comes out of his mouth is “what is your name?”, after a significantly long pause I irritatitly say: “Mpume”. It’s like he didn’t realise that I don’t want to talk to him coz the questions don’t stop there. He then asks “What’s your surname?” (he wants to make sure we don’t have the same surname). Even more irritated then I was I tell him “Zuma”, in a low voice looking away from him. If we have the same surname he’s gonna shout and say “You lying” and if they not the small talk will begin.

No matter how pull my mouth, give one word answers or show that I’m not interested he don’t give a damn. The small talk will end up with him asking for my phone number. No is never an aswer too, excuses too. He wants that number. Depend on where the place I am able to say hell no I won’t give you my number. But there are situations where I will give him my number so he can shut up, and then he becomes an irritation in my life. Hell I even get calls from people I don’t remember meeting and this why I don’t answer cellphone numbers I don’t know anymore. And when I give him an attitude he will think I’m being rude.

So guys please learn to read if a girl wants to talk to you or if she wants you to call her beyond that day. If she gives you one word answers, not looking at you when she’s talking to you or you have to beg her for your number. She’s not playing hard to get, she don’t want you PERIOD so LEAVE HER ALONE.

Michael Jackson's Memorial + His $25, 000 casket

So here I was switching between Channel O and CNN watching the King of Pop's memorial service at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The fans came out in their numbers to pay their last respect to the deseased musician.

The memorial had performances by artists such as the preggers Jennifer Hudson(is it me or did her baby bump grow over night), Steve Wonder, Mariah Carey, Usher and Lionel Richie.

Magic Johnson snub Joe Jackson in his speech. Maybe it's coz I was reading to much in his speech but when you say MJ's children will have an incredible grandma, uncles, aunts and cousin but fail to say they will have an incredible grandfather. That putting it boldly that Joe is bad father and grandfather. I don't blame Magic, Joe was instrumental in making MJ look like a white woman.

Well I think it's about time MJ is laid to rest. It's been almost two weeks already since his death, it's not like the Jackson family was raising funds for his funeral. The man was not that broke.
Oh and as much as I respect the King of Pop and sad about his death, slow down on MJ videos already (although I would watch Thriller anytime of the day, love that song). A day hasn't gone by since his death I haven't seen any of his music videos.

Don't get me wrong I have nothing but love for the man. He broke the Guinness World Record for most charities supported by a pop star.

MJ’s solid bronze, 14 karat gold plated, custom made casket costs a hefty $25, 000, which is approximately R200 000.

I could buy a nice posh house in the township with that money, and a Chevrolet Spark. Hell I would be the envy of the whole damn township.

I guess the King of Pop deserves a luxurious journey home. No masonite wood that will be termite food within days being six feet under for the king.

I wonder if Michael’s body was even in that casket during the memorial service. If you ask me I would say it wasn’t.

Nonetheless RIP MJ. Say hi to Tupac and Mama Africa for me.

Yep, Mpume said so
